Flame Control B.V. always operates in accordance with laws and regulations. We hold a number of important certifications, which are briefly explained below.
VCA (Safety, Health and Environment Checklist Contractors)
VCA is a tried and tested programme in which various sectors of Dutch industry have pooled their knowledge and experience in the field of safe and healthy working. With a VCA certificate, you lay the foundation for working safely and healthily every single day. You demonstrate that your company considers safe and healthy working to be important and establish yourself as a competent and reliable contractor.

Control Union certified ISO 9001
ISO 9001 offers Flamecontrol B.V. a tool for developing, implementing and improving the effectiveness of a quality management system. This standard sets out the requirements for safeguarding and improving processes that are important for increasing customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction is increased by meeting customer requirements, organisational requirements, legal and regulatory requirements, and by continually improving the effectiveness of the quality management system. ISO 9001 can be used by internal and external parties (including certification bodies) to assess whether a properly functioning quality management system is in place. This makes ISO 9001 suitable for certification and use in contractual situations. ISO 9001 contains the High Level Structure (HLS), the basic structure with core requirements for management system standards. This unambiguous structure facilitates the integration of ISO management systems.
Certification Institute for Security and Safety
CIBV is a certification body for security and safety. Stemming from the British LPCB, it has been carrying out the certification of sprinkler systems in the Netherlands since 2000. In 2007, its activities were expanded to include the certification of the installation and maintenance of other security systems and facilities.
CIBV specialises in fire protection and burglary protection certification.
